Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Concordia

Concordia entered their tilt with Buena Vista on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bison by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Concordia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyra McNair, who had nine digs and four aces. Those four aces gave McNair a new career-high. Grace Samuelson was another key player, getting four digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Concordia was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Buena Vista only served two aces.

Concordia's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Buena Vista, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Concordia has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Gretna on the 12th. As for Buena Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Omaha North on the 13th.
