Baseball Game Preview: Biglerville Canners vs. Camp Hill Lions

The Biglerville Canners will take on the Camp Hill Lions at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Biglerville came up short against Littlestown and fell 9-5. The Canners have struggled against the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Jared Hollabaugh made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Biglerville's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Pearce, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Camp Hill didn't have quite enough to beat Susquehanna Township on Wednesday and fell 6-5. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Biglerville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Camp Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
