On Saturday, Wahoo strolled past Blair with points to spare, taking the game 51-34.
It was another big night for Sidney Smart, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Lausterer, who scored 14 points.
Plattsmouth suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on January 5th. They were outmatched by Elkhorn on the road and fell 64-26. Plattsmouth was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-11.
Plattsmouth's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Stella Campin, who scored no points along with nine blocks, and Chloe Adkins who scored four points along with two blocks.
Wahoo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Plattsmouth, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Wahoo have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 21.1 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Plattsmouth, though, as they've been averaging only 28.9 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
