The Adena Warriors waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southeastern 75-40 at home. Adena has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adena to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cayden Lee, who scored 15 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Lee scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Bryson Smith, who scored 14 points.
Adena pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Southeastern, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Adena will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Westfall at 7:15 p.m. Westfall and Adena are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Southeastern, they will head out on the road to face off against Paint Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
