The East View Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Hendrickson a 4-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for East View who now have eight in a row.
They hit Hendrickson with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Julian Bariga,
Joaquin Lumbreras,
Damian Cantu, and
Hector Morales.
East View pushed their record up to 8-2-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hendrickson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East View will take on Georgetown at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. East View's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Georgetown's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hendrickson, they will head out on the road to square off against Pflugerville Connally at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hendrickson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
