Parkland is on a six-game streak of home losses, the Scorpions an eight-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Parkland Matadors will take on the Horizon Scorpions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Friday, Parkland was the victim of a tough 64-44 loss at the hands of the Knights. Parkland has not had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Horizon lost to the Highlanders at home by a decisive 48-32 margin on Friday.
Parkland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Horizon, their loss dropped their record down to 7-19.
Parkland strolled past the Scorpions when the teams last played back in January by a score of 62-47. Will Parkland repeat their success, or do the Scorpions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
