The Dixie Greyhounds won the last time they faced the Twin Valley South Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Dixie enjoyed a cozy 67-49 win over the Panthers.
Twin Valley South's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chandler Ulrich, who scored ten points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Roell, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
The victory got Dixie back to even at 9-9. As for Twin Valley South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixie will take on the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Legacy Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Twin Valley South, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. Carlisle presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Panthers in Ohio (the Indians are ranked 255th, while the Panthers are ranked 751st).
