If Estero was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Palmetto Ridge on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Neumann Celtics on Thursday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Estero was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Neumann work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 27-25.

Leading Neumann to victory were Ivanna Karacosta and Sofia Vargas. Karacosta had 11 digs and four assists, while Vargas had 16 assists and five digs. Karacosta is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Estero's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Neumann, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Estero has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against LaBelle on the 4th. As for Neumann, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Seacrest Country Day on the 6th.
