The Edgemont Moguls struggled with assists on Saturday (the Wall Eagles had 1100% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Edgemont took a serious blow against Wall, falling 60-19. Edgemont lost against Wall in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 60-32 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Edgemont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hadley Hollenbeck . Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wall to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paige Kjerstad, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Bailey Cerney was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Edgemont's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wall, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgemont will face off against Morrill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wall, they will head out on the road to face off against Dupree at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
