Maxon Yearsley Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Garden Valley's Maxon Yearsley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Yearsley picked up 183 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 92 yards.
For the season, Yearsley has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 91 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to six.

Council Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Owen Hatfield
Owen Hatfield was instrumental in extending Council's winning streak to five on Friday. Hatfield's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 183 rushing yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making seven total tackles.
This year, Hatfield has averaged 202.9 rushing yards per game.

Another Game with at Least 168 Rushing Yards from Jace Waggoner
Jace Waggoner's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 168+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 118 yards on only six passes.
Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Waggoner and Tri-Valley will be playing at home against Horseshoe Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cascade Gets a Boost from Olson in 30-14 Defeat
While Cascade might've come up empty on Friday, Cole Olson wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Olson as he rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 51 yards.
For the year, Olson has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 34.8 receiving yards per game.

Rex Fackrell Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles
Rex Fackrell continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 13th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least five total tackles. He picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 17 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
This year, Fackrell has averaged 9.5 total tackles per game and for the season has 4 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had one sack.
