This season hasn't been kind to The Walnut Hills Eagles, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They took a 31-14 bruising from Little Miami on Friday. Walnut Hills lost against Little Miami in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 24-21 score last time.
Despite the defeat, Walnut Hills saw an underclassman step up: Ty Austin picked up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Walnut Hills' loss was their 12th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.7 points per game. As for Little Miami, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9.
Walnut Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Little Miami is also done with their season.
