Gabi Winters made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.

Mariner was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bonita Springs only posted a batting average of .263.
Meanwhile, Riverdale never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Naples with a sharp 12-0 win. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Ella Bundy made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Bundy was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mariner hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like Riverdale struggles in that department as they've averaged .368. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
