The Trinity Prep Saints will be playing at home against the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Trinity Prep strolled past Lake Buena Vista with points to spare, taking the game 40-21. The win made it back-to-back wins for Trinity Prep.
Meanwhile, Cornerstone Charter Academy waltzed into their matchup Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 61-26 win over Lake Mary Prep.
Grace Jervis was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. Fernanda Sanchez was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
The win got Trinity Prep back to even at 4-4. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Trinity Prep might still be hurting after the 47-24 defeat they got from Cornerstone Charter Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2018. Can Trinity Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
