Highland came out on top in a nail-biter against Lynnville-Sully, sneaking past 25-22. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Lisbon lost to Belle Plaine last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 8-46.
Highland's win lifted them to 3-0 while Lisbon's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Highland's success rolls on or if Lisbon are able to steal their positive momentum.
