Follett is 5-0 against Kelton since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Follett Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Kelton Lions at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Follett has six straight victories, Kelton has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, Follett was able to grind out a solid victory over Miami, taking the game 48-41.
Maddox Miller was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Aiden Schilling was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Kelton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 39-34 to McLean. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kelton in their matchups with McLean: they've now lost three in a row.
Follett's victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Kelton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Everything went Follett's way against Kelton in their previous meeting on January 2nd as Follett made off with a 52-26 victory. With Follett ahead 31-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
