Brookelyn Rogers and Maddie McRae were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Rogers struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, McRae didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Rogers has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
