While Acadiana didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Carencro Bears on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won four in a row.

While Acadiana might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Carencro scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21.

Acadiana's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Carencro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Acadiana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Port Barre on the 20th. As for Carencro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cecilia on the 20th.
