Despite the loss, Madison still got an impressive performance from Audrey Nelson, who scored 24 points. Nelson scored a full 53.3% of Madison's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Taneaja John, who scored 5 points.
Elk Point-Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
