The Copley Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Revere Minutemen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Copley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 443 points over their last seven matches.
Copley put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 62-30 win over Barberton on the road. With Copley ahead 40-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Izzy Callaway continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Copley's points. Evelyn Mcknight was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Revere came up short against Highland on Wednesday and fell 57-50. While losing is never fun, Revere can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Highland is ranked 123rd).
Copley pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.67 points. As for Revere, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
Copley strolled past Revere in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 56-37. Will Copley repeat their success, or does Revere have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
