Volleyball Recap: Cotter Gets the Win

Cotter won the last time they faced Lourdes, and Sydney Repinski did her part to make sure it happened again. The Ramblers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Repinski, who had 22 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Cotter never let Lourdes on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 27-25.

Cotter now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lourdes, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Cotter is taking a road trip to challenge Plainview-Elgin-Millville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lourdes, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Zumbrota-Mazeppa at 7:15 p.m.
