If Lourdes wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cotter, they should've done a better job of containing Sydney Repinski. The Ramblers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Repinski, who had 22 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Cotter never let Lourdes on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 27-25.

Cotter now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lourdes, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Cotter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Plainview-Elgin-Millville on the 4th. As for Lourdes, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Zumbrota-Mazeppa on the 4th.
