West Seattle will challenge the Nathan Hale Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. West Seattle knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Nathan Hale likes a good challenge.
On Thursday, West Seattle made easy work of Franklin and carried off a 26-3 win. The result was nothing new for West Seattle, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Daeja Piggee and Violet Faull were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Piggee pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Faull tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Piggee went 3-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles, while Faull got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs Piggee has posted since back in March.
West Seattle kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Nathan Hale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Garfield, falling 8-0.
West Seattle is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Nathan Hale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Nathan Hale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: West Seattle has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 13.3 hits per game. It's a different story for Nathan Hale, though, as they've been averaging 9.6 hits. Given West Seattle's sizable advantage in that area, Nathan Hale will need to find a way to close that gap.
West Seattle couldn't quite finish off Nathan Hale in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 and fell 5-3. Can West Seattle avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
