Hill School was handed a five-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Baldwin Bears 2-1. Lily Mauro had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Hill School.

Hill School has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matchups. As for Baldwin, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9-1.

Looking ahead, Hill School will venture away from home to face off against Mercersburg Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mercersburg Academy's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Baldwin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
