Adams County Christian made easy work of Cathedral on Friday and carried off a 39-6 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Adams County Christian, who now have nine in a row.
The contest started off well for Adams County Christian, whose offense put up 26 first-half points. Meanwhile, Cathedral couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 26-0 heading into the break. Adams County Christian put the contest away in the third quarter with 13 points from the offense and six points allowed from the defense. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 9-0. Cathedral are on a three-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 4-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Adams County Christian will be playing at home against Central Private at at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike Adams County Christian, Central Private will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Cathedral, they will face off against Silliman Institute.
