The Silver Bluff Bulldogs had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 victory over Airport on Tuesday. Silver Bluff's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Silver Bluff to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dresean Germany, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Germany scored 15 or more points. Jaydon Eason was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds.
Silver Bluff's win bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Airport, they bumped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Silver Bluff won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Brookland-Cayce at 7:45 p.m. on December 13th. One thing working in Brookland-Cayce's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. Airport won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Swansea at 8:00 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully Swansea focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
