The Richmond Red Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Phalen Leadership Academy 95-43 at home. Richmond's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Ryder Cate, who scored 20 points. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. Cedric Horton was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Several Falcon players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brenton Smith, who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Callahan , who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Phalen Leadership Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Richmond pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.2 points per game. As for Phalen Leadership Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
