The Sterling Tigers won the last time they faced the Wellington Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Sterling breezed by Wellington at home to the tune of 77-13. With Sterling ahead 47-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Ethan Thyne, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. Colin Linn was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with three steals.
Sterling now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wellington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Sterling will take on Limon in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at. Wellington will be home for the holidays to greet Timnath at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
