Softball Recap: Malakoff Has No Trouble Against Eustace

After only two runs in their last game, Malakoff made sure to put some runs up on the board against Eustace on Friday. The Malakoff Tigers were the clear victor by a 15-1 margin over the Eustace Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Malakoff's win bumped their record up to 11-5-1. As for Eustace, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coming up, Malakoff will challenge Quitman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Malakoff's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Quitman's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Eustace, they will square off against Grand Saline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
