Miller was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in 9-Man Freelance (9 Man). Earlier in the week, the Rustlers triumphed over Highmore/Harrold 52-2.
Colome and White River played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Colome eventually emerging with a 28-22 victory. Andrew Odden ran for 100 yards in the win.
Miller's dynamic duo of Lee Sivertsen and Wyatt Strasburg proved tough for Highmore/Harrold to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sivertsen threw for 43 yards and Strasburg had 30 yards receiving. Kris Wharton helped Miller's passing attack out by catching one ball for 13 yards.
Stanley County's Herman Fennell III and Brady Washechek have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Fennell III has thrown for 605 yards this season, while Washechek, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 11 catches for 306 yards. Odden from the Cowboys leads the league in rushing with 961 yards.
Rapid City Christian took down Lower Brule 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
