After flying high against Non Varsity Opponent last Thursday, the Miami-Yoder Buffaloes came back down to earth. Miami-Yoder was dealt a 47-20 loss at the hands of Hi-Plains on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Miami-Yoder has scored all season.

Miami-Yoder's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hi-Plains, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.
Miami-Yoder will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Monument Academy at 4:30 p.m. As for Hi-Plains, they will head out on the road to face off against Cheyenne Wells at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Cheyenne Wells is ranked 150th, while Hi-Plains is ranked 131st).
