Chrisman was the  46-34 winner over Martinsville when they last played one another  back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Chrisman Cardinals fell  37-30 to the Martinsville Bluestreaks on Saturday.
 Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jaidyn Alexander, who  earned 13 points along with four  steals. Alexander has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 11 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adaleyn Miller, who  earned three points in addition to 14  rebounds and six  blocks.
 Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Martinsville, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Chrisman will take on Georgetown-Ridge Farm at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Martinsville, they will be defending their home-court for the first time this season they go up against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
