After soaring to 36 points the game before, Little Wound faltered in their match on Friday. They took a serious blow against Belle Fourche on Friday, falling 0-50. If Little Wound were hoping to take revenge for the 28-59 loss against Belle Fourche the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Little Wound's record to 1-5. The win got Belle Fourche back to even at 3-3.
Next week Little Wound take on Crow Creek at 6:30 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Belle Fourche, they will face off against Pine Ridge. Unlike Belle Fourche, Pine Ridge will be limping in after taking a loss.
