Max Walraven Turns in Season-Best Performance
Max Walraven produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Forsyth to the win on Friday. Walraven threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 57 yards.
The victory (which was West Forsyth's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Walraven and West Forsyth will square off against North Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Bland Posts Huge Game in 42-7 Victory
Cameron Bland posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns. He has become a key player for Lambert: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.
Forsyth Central had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Bland it was a similar story. Bland rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 113 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in October of 2023.
