The Keystone Wildcats suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Brookside by a score of 54-52. Keystone has not had much luck with Brookside recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Keystone's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Liam Goran, who scored 18 points along with two steals, and Grant Hartley who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Hartley is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emory Fedor, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Keystone has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Brookside, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Keystone will head out on the road to take on North Olmsted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookside, they will be playing at home against Vermilion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vermilion is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
