It's playoff time, and Oakland-Craig had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 51-46 win over the Elkhorn Valley Falcons on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oakland-Craig to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adi Rennerfeldt, who went 5-for-12 en route to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Rennerfeldt is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Sonya Guzinski was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jj Black, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Karlee Broberg, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 14 points.
Oakland-Craig's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Elkhorn Valley, they moved to 28-1 with that defeat, which also ended their 28-game winning streak.
