After losing to the St. Mary's Pirates the last time they met, the Peyton Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Peyton came out on top against St. Mary's by a score of 60-50 on Saturday.
It was another big night for Michael Perry, who scored 33 points along with five steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ayden Breese was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Peyton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for St. Mary's, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Peyton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Simla at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Simla will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. St. Mary's will be home for the holidays to greet Resurrection Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Resurrection Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
