Mi'Kenzi Christian continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of West Tallahatchie's points. Another player making a difference was Kydresha Washington, who scored eight points.
West Tallahatchie's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Leland, they bumped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
West Tallahatchie will face off against Shaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shaw has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Leland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Delta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Delta is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
