Skipstone Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. Those six runs were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory was the third in a row for Skipstone Academy, bringing their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Skipstone Academy will face off against Scholars Guild Academy on Saturday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. Creekside Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
