Basketball Recap: Florala Beats Red Level for Their Fourth Straight Victory

After losing to Red Level the last time they met, Florala decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Florala Wildcats blew past the Red Level Tigers 57-37 on Monday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Florala had a senior duo take command as Elijah McMeans dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards and Rayshon Coleman went 9 of 18 on his way to 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Coleman is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Jackson, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Red Level, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, Florala and Red Level will both be playing Opp the next time they take the court. Florala will head out to face Opp at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Red Level will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
