The Estrella Foothills Wolves stacked a 20th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Goldwater 88-15 at home. Winning may never get old, but Estrella Foothills sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Estrella Foothills was led to victory by Omareeya Brown and Nemo Sidhu. Brown dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Sidhu scored 20 points along with seven steals. Brown continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Eva Amenhauser was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Estrella Foothills pushed their record up to 24-3 with that victory, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 47.95 points. As for Goldwater, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estrella Foothills and Peoria will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Peoria will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Estrella Foothills is ranked 29th). As for Goldwater, Goldwater and Deer Valley will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
