The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cheney RVT in their matchups with Portland: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite their loss, Cheney RVT saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Cristialis Carrasquillo, who scored five points along with seven steals and five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Ai'Lani Alvelo, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds.
Goodwin Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Cheney RVT, they bumped their record down to 3-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
