 Western Harnett was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .308 or higher in six consecutive  contests.
Western Harnett has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Terry Sanford, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-6.
