The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Fossil Ridge Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Midlothian Heritage will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Midlothian Heritage was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 31-30 to Centennial.
Despite the loss, Midlothian Heritage had strong showings from Ava Batty, who scored 11 points, and Grace Sweeney, who scored 8 points. Sweeney scored a full 26.7% of Midlothian Heritage's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Fossil Ridge suffered a tough 66-42 loss at the hands of Brewer on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Fossil Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Brewer is ranked 55th).
Idalou's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Midlothian Heritage's loss dropped theirs to 10-5.
