Oaklee Thomas was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Fiore, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Juan Diego Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .704. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Ellie Sylvia was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Samantha Farnsworth also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
The victory made it two in a row for Juan Diego Catholic and bumps their season record up to 12-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Summit Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Juan Diego Catholic hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .447. However, it's not like Summit Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
