Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Has No Trouble Against Monroe

Harrisburg won the last time they faced Monroe and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Harrisburg Eagles' way against the Monroe Dragons as the Harrisburg Eagles made off with a 56-30 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

Harrisburg's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Monroe, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg and Lowell will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harrisburg is facing Lowell at the right time seeing as Lowell is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Monroe, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Camas Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
