The Bolsa Grande Matadors will venture away from home to face off against the Orange Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Orange will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Bolsa Grande extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Matadors were the clear victors by a 26-5 margin over Saddleback.

Bolsa Grande got a massive performance out of Roxanna Torres, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Torres has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Melanie Torres, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base.
Bolsa Grande always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .881. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .600 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Orange got themselves on the board against Century on Friday, but Century never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Centurions with a sharp 14-0 win.
Scarlett Poitra made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Anabelle Alvarado, who earned one RBI, two runs, and two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Chloe Vazquez, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.
Bolsa Grande's record is now 14-4. As for Orange, their record now sits at 12-5.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bolsa Grande hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .505. However, it's not like Orange struggles in that department as they've averaged .340. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
