The West Valley Rams were the 41-35 winner over the Moses Lake Mavericks when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. West Valley was beaten by Moses Lake 47-13 on Friday. West Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-6.
Moses Lake found their leader in underclassman Brady Jay, who threw for 406 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 84.4% of his passes. Jay is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kyson Thomas, who picked up 187 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
West Valley has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Moses Lake, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
West Valley will be playing at home against Wenatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Wenatchee is ranked 104th, while West Valley is ranked 116th). As for Moses Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastmont is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
