The Passaic Indians will challenge the Clifton Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Passaic took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Manchester Regional as they made off with a 9-1 victory.

Angel Mora looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Passaic's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is undefeated (and 2-8 when he doesn't).
On the hitting side, Adrian Fabian was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Randis Rosario, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
Passaic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manchester Regional only posted a batting average of .095.
Meanwhile, Clifton posted their closest win since April 29, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Passaic, sneaking past 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.
Trevor Rascher was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Those 15 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaron Tapia De La Cruz, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Andy Gracia was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Passaic's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Clifton, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
