Milton is 2-8 against Navarre since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will face off against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Milton will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Milton had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Baker on Friday. The Panthers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Gators a 9-0 shutout.

Chloe Norman
04/11/25 vs Baker | 8 |
04/10/25 @ Crestview | 5 |
04/08/25 @ Niceville | 10 |
04/04/25 vs Pace | 5 |
04/03/25 vs Walton | 8 |
The result came thanks to Chloe Norman's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alexis Hawthorne, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Destiny Dennis, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Milton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Navarre ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over Tate. The win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on three straight.
Kayden Riddle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over nine innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Riddle was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Kylie Pearson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 4-for-5. Nadia Rivera was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-5.
Navarre's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Milton, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Milton suffered a grim 17-2 defeat to Navarre when the teams last played back in February. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
