Meanwhile, Cardozo faced School Without Walls in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Cardozo took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 81-35 victory over School Without Walls.
Dunbar is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Cardozo, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
Dunbar didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Cardozo when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. Does Dunbar have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cardozo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
